WELCOME
I discovered Pilates around 6 years ago. I had suffered with major Back issues having undergone a Back operation,
I used Pilates as rehabilitation, if it wasn't for my commitment to Pilates under the expert guidance from my tutor Christina Fulcher, I would never have made the journey to become a Pilates instructor. I still practice weekly with Christina who helps me maintain my body, she was my inspiration throughout my journey!.
I am now fully certified and insured level 3 matwork Pilates instructor, I took my training in London with JPilates (founder Joanne Cobbe).
I enjoy bringing the benefits of Pilates to others through my teaching. I enjoy broadening my knowledge by attending workshops. I'm also certified in teaching Barre which is a fusion of Ballet moves/ Pilates.

So What is pilates?
Pilates is a complete method developed by its founder jo pilates… Today Pilates can be seen in many different environments. The secret behind its popularity and appeal lies in its versatility and adaptability, it's benefits can apply to a wide cross-section from the professional dancer or the elite athlete to the young, old and those recovering from injury.
Pilates develops the body uniformly, corrects wrong posture, builds you deepest abdominal strength through a series of low-repitition, low-impact stretching and conditioning exercises. By deepest abdominal strength we mean your back abdominal and pelvic muscles - your powerhouse. Through pilates, you will be able to develop these muscles, increasing your strength.
Pilates goes far beyond your powerhouse (core) muscles. it provides a complete body workout. You will work muscles you didn't even know you had. Most important it will give you great body awareness. breathing is one of the fundamentals of Pilates. Learning to breathe correctly is a structured technique; an effective tool that will enhance and ease your movement.
